What is the difference between water filled rubber dams and inflatable rubber dams

The filling and discharging time of water filled rubber dams is longer than that of inflatable dams. In terms of cost, there is not much difference between the two types of dams. The operating conditions of rubber dams are similar to those of water gates, but compared to conventional gate dams, they also have the following characteristics:

1、 It is low in cost. It can reduce investment by 30%~70%, save steel by 30%~50%, cement by about 50%, and wood by over 60%.

2、 The construction period is short. The installation of the dam bag can be completed in only 3-15 days, and most rubber dam projects benefit from the same year of construction.

3、 The dam body is a flexible soft shell structure, which can resist earthquakes, waves and other impacts, and has good water stop effect, large span, and no water blocking in flood season. It can be used for urban landscaping.

4、 Less maintenance and convenient management. The service life of rubber dam bags is generally 15-25 years.
